There are a lot of people with hidden agendas and the plot thickens as the show comes to a conclusion. After a tumultuous campaign the ' new' president brings a breath of fresh air to the position, getting the country back into a sound economic situation. Very topical, could be where America is headed. Or, where it is.
All kinds of twists and turns to create a great story. It demonstrates what many people believe happens in the dirty behind the scenes business of politics and a hero to cheer for..
Did not come across as professionally finished product. Would have rated higher if presentation was better. Good author though and will read his work again.
It a shame that this isn't a nonfiction story. There is so much truth in this story, and the refreshing ideas are really a boost. If everyone in America read this, it might very well begin to make an impact so that we could actually begin changing directions. It is so refreshing to see an author who really manages to take a topic that needs more attention and turn it into something that you want to keep reading. Amazing thoughts and imagination that make the reader wishful and hopeful that this might actually come about. Maybe we could assign it as required reading in high school to graduate. That way when they came out of school maybe some of the suggestions and ideas might actually begin to take hold.
He doesn't make it a joke, even though it has some light moments. The title pretty much gives the theme but there are many underlying little twists that make it really come to life. Great job.
Loved the book. Plan on reading other Mick Harlow books.
I loved this book up to the end when I couldn't read the last 2 or more pages from what it kept telling me was an application error. It didn't matter how many times I deleted and re-downloaded it from the cloud I could not read past the point where they were talking about how her husband would be remembered but I never got to find out what she did.
But it was a terrific book. I loved the characters, even the bad guys and the storyline was fantastic. Would recommend it to anyone who likes a good political thriller.
This author writes excellent stories of political factions that are so true and we wish it was done this way now. It's almost like it knew Trump was going to run and win in 2017!
